Indianapolis, IN (7/22/2021)—- The Indiana Athletic Trainers Association has selected Anna Foster, MS, LAT, ATC as one of three recipients of the IATA Professional Excellence Award. Anna will receive her award at the IATA’s Annual Business Meeting and Clinical Symposia in Carmel on Saturday, July 24th.
Anna has been a long-time secondary school athletic trainer serving at both Scecina Memorial and Carmel High School and currently serves as an athletic trainer for ProTeam Tactical. Her professionalism, clinical excellence, patient-centered care and collaborative spirit have remained constant despite the change in setting. In addition to Anna’s ability to connect with patients, her outstanding documentation skills, highly skilled manual therapy skills, and the desire to be a lifelong learner, Anna has served as a role model for her colleagues, AT students for which she serves as a preceptor, and as an example of what an AT should be to those that may be unfamiliar with our profession.
